Meet The Staff
Tom Wise, President and Professional Industrial Hygienist Tom Wise has served as a principal and firm owner for 26 years. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Northern Arizona University, and has 40 years professional experience in engineering and environmental consulting and training. Mr. Wise is a Certified Environmental Manager in Nevada and is licensed and accredited to practice asbestos and lead consulting in Nevada. His education and experience qualify him for the designation of Professional Industrial Hygienist.
Mr. Wise’s environmental consulting experience includes serving in ownership and directing environmental divisions of three consulting companies beginning in 1989. Through that time, Mr. Wise has been involved in over 7,000 environmental projects in eight states and has authored environmental training courses for asbestos, lead, and fungal abatement/remediation. Mr. Wise has served as the principal trainer for over 900 environmental courses over the last 26 years. Mr. Wise has spoken at numerous regional environmental seminars and conferences, and was dubbed the "Asbestos Answer Man" by the head of the technical review committee of an industry leading professional environmental organization. Mr. Wise continues to attend seminars on developing technology in the environmental diagnostics and related health issues.
Dana J. Carlton, Environmental Consultant, Asbestos/Lead Project Manager Dana Carlton has over 23 years broad-based experience in environmental abatement/remediation and environmental consulting and training.
Mr. Carlton's environmental abatement/remediation work experience includes supervisor of asbestos, lead-based paint, fungal and hautivirus abatement projects for a regional abatement contractor. During this time, Mr. Carlton supervised several high profile abatement projects at commercial, school and college sites.
Mr. Carlton's environmental consulting experience includes serving with two companies conducting broad based environmental consulting in Nevada and California. Mr. Carlton has been a consultant and trainer for WISE for ten years where he has been involved with over 1,600 projects and assisted with 200 courses. Mr. Carlton is licensed in all disciplines of asbestos and lead consulting in Nevada and California. His dedication and responsibility have earned him high respect in the environmental abatement community.
Shaun Mihaila, Environmental Consultant, Biological Project Manager Shaun Mihaila has over 23 years of broad based experience in the construction and environmental contracting and consulting industry. During his career, Mr. Mihaila has been instrumental in the formation of two restoration/environmental remediation companies and one national consulting company with emphasis on insurance work.
Mr. Mihaila has worked as an environmental consultant for WISE for four years, with involvement in over 300 projects including mold, sewer backups, pigeon feces, methamphetamine, and asbestos consulting. Mr. Mihaila has also assisted in teaching fungal remediation classes. He is widely considered a remediation expert based upon his broad experience in conducting work, consulting on approach and cost of work for the insurance industry, and now working as a consultant inspecting and developing remediation plans.
Noel A. Bonderson – Environmental Consultant Noel Bonderson has over 35 years of environmental experience in both the public and private sectors. Mr. Bonderson holds a B.A. degree in Biology and a Masters Degree in Environmental Planning from Cal State University. Mr. Bonderson also has excellent knowledge of related local, state and federal environmental regulations. Mr. Bonderson has worked as a Principal Environmental Scientist, Air Quality Supervisor and a Waste Management Director. He has been trained in EPA air quality/environmental/OSHA courses and seminars, storm water (SWPP) certificate, MSHA Certificate and was registered as an Environmental Assessor.
Nick Timko, Environmental Inspector Nick Timko has been involved with WISE for five years, where he has achieved an asbestos license and additional training in lead and fungal inspection and testing. Mr. Timko works part time for WISE, serving on large and small projects, and has become a valuable team consultant. Mr. Timko has served on hundreds of projects.
Mr. Timko also has worked many years in renovation of housing, giving him a knowledge of construction that relates to his environmental tasks.
